The Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy Sandiaga Salahuddin Uno, came to Bali to help and discuss in an effort to revive the tourism and economy sector in Bali. He visited the Dharmanegara Alaya Building on Monday (28/12/2020) which was welcomed by the Mayor of Denpasar, the Denpasar Bekraf Team and several other invited guests.

As is well known, tourism and the economy in Bali has greatly decreased during the Covid-19 pandemic. During the opportunity to discuss together with Minister Sandiaga Salahuddin Uno, the Chairperson of the Denpasar Bekraf Team explained several projects that have been implemented in an effort to improve the economy in Bali. One of the efforts that has been made is to create a Denpasar Festival Virtual Event led by Hendika Permana as Director of E-Commerce Denpasar Festival 2020. The Denpasar Festival E-Commerce platform provides a place to sell for sellers to market and sell their products online. Denpasar Virtual Festival 2020 was held with the aim of helping MSMEs to continue selling and being creative even during the Covid-19 pandemic. Denpasar Festival 2020 is held virtually and has been running for almost 3 months. Currently, transactions that have occurred on the Denpasar Festival E-Commerce platform have exceeded 3 billion rupiah.

With the arrival and presence of the Minister of Tourism, Sandiaga Salahuddin Uno, to Bali, it is our hope that he can help revive the tourism and economy sector in Bali.
